Ingredients
– 4 cod fillets
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons melted butter
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a shallow bowl, mix together the parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. – Brush the cod fillets with the melted butter, then dredge them in the parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to help it adhere.
4. – Arrange the coated cod fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
5. – Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the cod is cooked through and the crust is crispy and golden brown.
6. – Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
For a crispier crust, you can also mist the coated fillets with a little cooking spray before air frying. Adjust the cooking time as needed based on the thickness of your cod fillets.
