Description

Indulge in the ultimate baked brie experience with this easy-to-make, flaky puff pastry recipe featuring a gooey, melty center and sweet honey and fig topping.

Ingredients

– 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese

– 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 4-5 fresh figs, sliced

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. Unwrap the brie and place it in the center of the puff pastry sheet.

3. 3. Gather the corners of the puff pastry and gently wrap them around the brie, pinching and folding the dough to completely enclose the cheese.

4. 4. Place the wrapped brie seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown.

6. 6. Remove the baked brie from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.

7. 7. Drizzle the top of the baked brie with honey and arrange the sliced figs around the edges.

8. 8. Serve the baked brie immediately with crackers, bread, or your favorite accompaniments.

Notes

For best results, use a high-quality brie cheese. You can also experiment with different fruit toppings, such as cranberries, apples, or pears.
