Ingredients
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 2 ripe bananas, mashed

– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. 3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
4. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

6. 6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Notes
Store the filled cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For a more pronounced banana flavor, use very ripe bananas. You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cookie dough for extra warmth.
