Description

Tender beef, crisp-tender vegetables, and a savory sauce come together in this quick and easy Beef And Vegetable Stir Fry. Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner, this flavorful dish is ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

– 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

– 1 tablespoon brown sugar

– 2 teaspoons sesame oil

– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 inch piece fresh ginger, grated

– 1 red bell pepper, sliced

– 1 cup broccoli florets

– 1 cup snow peas

– 2 green onions, sliced

– 2 tablespoons cornstarch

– 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

1. – In a bowl, combine the beef, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Toss to coat and let marinate for 15 minutes.

2. – Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.

3. – Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the beef is starting to brown.

4. – Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

5. – In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and beef broth. Pour the mixture into the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened, about 1 minute.

6. – Remove from heat and stir in the green onions. Serve immediately with steamed rice.

Notes

– Adjust the cooking time for the vegetables based on your preference for crispness.

– Feel free to substitute other vegetables, such as carrots, mushrooms, or bok choy.

– Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
