Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
– 2 tomatoes, diced
– 1 onion, thinly sliced
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tbsp white vinegar
– 1 tbsp brown sugar
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. 1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
2. 2. In a small saucepan, caramelize the onion slices by cooking them over medium-low heat with the white vinegar and brown sugar, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and golden, about 15 minutes.
3. 3. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to make the caramelized onion aioli.
