Description

Indulge in the cozy, autumnal flavors of Caramel Apple Slices – a decadent and easy-to-make dessert. Tender apple slices are coated in a rich, caramelized sauce for a heavenly treat that’s perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

– 6 medium apples, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch thick pieces

– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

– 1 cup light brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.

3. 3. Add the apple slices and toss to coat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are slightly softened.

4. 4. Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.

5. 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the sauce is bubbly.

6. 6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve the Caramel Apple Slices warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of additional caramel sauce for an extra indulgent treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
