Ingredients
– 1 loaf day-old bread, cubed
– 4 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and chopped
– 6 large eggs
– 2 cups whole milk
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. – In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and chopped pears.
3. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
4. – Pour the custard mixture over the bread and pear mixture, and gently stir to combine.
5. – Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
6. – Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
7. – Allow the bread pudding to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes
