Ingredients

– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 1 lb scallops

– 2 cups milk

– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

– 1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of celery soup

– 1 package (7.5 oz) Cheddar Bay biscuit mix

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F.

2. – In a large skillet, sauté the shrimp and scallops over medium-high heat until just cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. – In the same skillet, whisk together the milk and flour until smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

4. – Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of celery soup until well combined.

5. – Add the cooked shrimp and scallops back to the skillet and stir to combine.

6. – Pour the seafood mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

7. – Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions, then drop the biscuit dough evenly over the top of the seafood mixture.

8. – Brush the biscuit dough with the melted butter.

9. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

10. – Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the seafood mixture. You can also substitute other types of seafood, such as cod or halibut, if desired.
