Description

Indulge in the creamy, cheesy goodness of this homemade Cheese Ball – a classic and beloved party appetizer that’s a total crowd-pleaser. Serve it with crackers, veggies, or bread for the perfect bite-sized snack.

Ingredients

– 16 oz cream cheese, softened

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tsp dried parsley

– 1/2 tsp onion powder

– 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

– 1 cup finely chopped pecans or almonds

Instructions

1- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and shredded gouda. Use a spatula to mix the ingredients together until they’re well-incorporated and the texture is smooth and creamy.
2- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Continue mixing until all the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
3- Once the Cheese Ball is fully mixed, use your hands to shape it into a smooth, round ball. Place it on a serving plate or platter and cover it with plastic wrap.
4- Refrigerate the Cheese Ball for at least 2 hours, or up to 3 days. The longer it chills, the firmer and more flavorful it will become.
5- When ready to serve, remove the plastic wrap and roll the Cheese Ball in your desired coating, such as chopped nuts, crushed crackers, or finely chopped herbs.
6- Arrange the coated Cheese Ball on a platter, surrounded by an assortment of crackers, veggie sticks, and other dippers. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

– For a flavor twist, try adding in chopped fresh herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, or crumbled bacon.

– The Cheese Ball can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.

– Leftovers can be kept in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
