Description

This creamy and comforting Cheeseburger Soup Recipe is packed with all the classic cheeseburger flavors you love, made easy in one pot. Ground beef, melted cheese, and savory seasonings come together for a quick and satisfying weeknight meal.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 4 cups beef broth

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled, 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

2. – Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

3. – Pour in the beef broth and stir in the softened cream cheese until fully incorporated.

4. – Bring the soup to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

5. – Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. – Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese, crispy bacon bits, and chopped scallions if desired.

Notes

For a thicker soup, let simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes. Can also add diced potatoes or other veggies. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
