Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy flavors of this decadent Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu, a perfect balance of sweet cherries and bold amaretto.


Ingredients

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 cup mascarpone cheese

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur

– 1 cup cherry compote or pie filling

– 36 ladyfingers

– 2 tablespoons cocoa powder


Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

2. 2. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone and powdered sugar until smooth.

3. 3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.

4. 4. Dip the ladyfingers in the amaretto liqueur and arrange them in a single layer in a 9×13 inch baking dish.

5. 5. Spread half of the cherry compote over the ladyfingers.

6. 6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cherry compote.

7. 7. Repeat the layers of ladyfingers, cherry compote, and mascarpone mixture.

8. 8. Dust the top with the cocoa powder.

9. 9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or up to 24 hours, before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can substitute part of the heavy cream with additional mascarpone. You can also experiment with different types of cherries or other fruit compotes.
