Ingredients

– 3 egg whites

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until they form soft peaks.

3. Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the mixture until it forms stiff, glossy peaks.

4. Gently fold in the cocoa powder and chocolate chips until just combined.

5. Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small mounds or dollops.

6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly browned and crisp on the outside but still soft in the center.

7. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes
