Description

Indulge in the rich, fudgy goodness of this classic Chocolate Salami – a quick and easy no-bake dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up this decadent retro treat in no time.

Ingredients

– 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 cup crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits

– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or almonds

– 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well combined. Slowly pour in the melted chocolate mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.

3. Fold in the crushed graham crackers and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.

4. Transfer the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap and shape it into a log, about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

5. Unwrap the chilled log and dust the exterior evenly with the cocoa powder.

6. Slice the Chocolate Salami into 1/2-inch thick rounds and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

– For a festive touch, you can roll the log in crushed candy canes or sprinkle with chopped pistachios before dusting with cocoa powder.

– Chocolate Salami can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
