Description

Indulge in the divine combination of rich, velvety chocolate and sweet, chewy dates with these irresistible Chocolate Tuxedo Stuffed Dates. These no-bake treats come together in just 15 minutes, making them the perfect bite-sized dessert or appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 12 medjool dates, pitted

– 1/2 cup high-quality dark chocolate, finely chopped

– 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1 tablespoon coconut oil

– Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Slice each date lengthwise and carefully remove the pit, leaving the date intact.

2. In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring frequently until smooth.

3. Dip each date half into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Place the chocolate-dipped dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. Sprinkle the coated dates with a light dusting of cocoa powder, making sure to evenly coat the chocolate.

5. Refrigerate the Chocolate Tuxedo Stuffed Dates for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

6. Serve chilled and enjoy these decadent bites!

Notes

For a richer flavor, try using a combination of dark and milk chocolate. You can also experiment with different nut butters or fillings inside the dates. These Chocolate Tuxedo Stuffed Dates can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
