Description

Elevate your holiday feast with this Mouthwatering Christmas Cranberry Sauce – ready in just 5 minutes! A timeless family tradition, this tangy-sweet condiment is the perfect accompaniment to roasted meats, turkey, and more.

Ingredients

– 12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup water

– 1 tablespoon orange zest

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

2. – Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened, about 10-12 minutes.

3. – Remove from heat and stir in the orange zest and cinnamon. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

4. – Serve warm or chilled as a condiment, topping, or side dish.

Notes

For a smoother texture, use an immersion blender to puree the sauce after cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
