Indulge in the beloved flavors of Disneyland with this homemade Churro Toffee recipe. Buttery, cinnamon-sugar coated toffee that tastes just like the iconic theme park treat.
Ingredients
– 1 cup unsalted butter
– 1 cup packed light brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, and stir until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is bubbling, about 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly.
4. Allow to cool completely, then break the toffee into bite-sized pieces.
5. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Notes
For a more indulgent treat, drizzle the cooled toffee with melted chocolate. You can also sprinkle with additional cinnamon or chopped nuts.
