Description

Ingredients

– 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

– 1/2 cup white rum

– 3 cups shredded coconut

– 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white rum. Mix well until fully incorporated.

2. Fold in the shredded coconut and stir until the mixture is well combined.

3. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

4. Press the coconut mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

6. Remove the chilled squares from the pan and dust with powdered sugar.

7. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, replace the rum with coconut milk or cream of coconut. You can also add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
