Description
Elevate your pizza night with the Coquette Rosa Pizza, featuring a gorgeous prosciutto rose garnish. This delightful dish is not only visually stunning but also bursting with flavor, thanks to the creamy rosa sauce and the salty, cured prosciutto.
Ingredients
– 1 pre-made pizza crust
– 1 cup rosa sauce
– 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
– 6 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Spread the rosa sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
3. Arrange the sliced mozzarella over the sauce.
4. To create the prosciutto roses, take a slice of prosciutto and gently roll it up, starting from one end. Repeat this process with the remaining prosciutto slices, placing the roses on top of the pizza.
5. Drizzle the pizza with olive oil and sprinkle the chopped rosemary over the top.
6. Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Remove the pizza from the oven and season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Slice and serve the Coquette Rosa Pizza with Prosciutto Roses immediately, while it’s hot and fresh.
Notes
For a crispy crust, you can pre-bake the pizza crust for 5-7 minutes before adding the toppings. Additionally, you can experiment with different cheese varieties, such as fontina or gorgonzola, to complement the flavors of the rosa sauce and prosciutto.
