Description

These easy Cowboy Sliders are the ultimate bite-sized treat, packed with bold southwestern flavors. They’re perfect for game day, parties, or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1 tbsp chili powder

– 1 tsp cumin

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 12 slider buns

– 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.

2. 2. Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.

3. 3. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the slider patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

4. 4. Top each patty with a sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking.

5. 5. Place the cheesy slider patties on the bottom buns and drizzle with barbecue sauce.

6. 6. Add the top buns and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add diced onions, pickles, or jalapeños to the sliders. If you have time, let the patties marinate in the spices for 30 minutes before cooking for even more bold taste.
