Description
Cranberry Brie Bites are a quick and easy holiday appetizer that combines the sweet-tart flavors of cranberries with the creamy richness of brie cheese, all wrapped in a flaky puff pastry shell.
Ingredients
– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
– 8 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
– 2 tbsp brown sugar
– 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme (optional)
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 16 equal squares.
3. – Place a cube of brie cheese in the center of each pastry square.
4. – Top each brie cube with 2-3 cranberries.
5. – Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape, and press the edges to seal.
6. – Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. – Brush the tops of the bites with the melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.
8. – Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted.
9. – Garnish with fresh thyme (if using) and serve warm.
Notes
These Cranberry Brie Bites can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake. They also reheat well in the oven if you have any leftovers.
