Ingredients
– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed if frozen
– 1 cup fresh cranberries
– 8 oz camembert cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
– 1 egg, beaten with 1 tbsp water for egg wash
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. 2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
3. 3. Arrange the cranberries, camembert cubes, and chopped pistachios in the center of the pastry, leaving a 2-inch border.
4. 4. Fold the pastry edges over the filling, overlapping slightly to create a tree shape.
5. 5. Brush the pastry with the egg wash.
6. 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
7. 7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality puff pastry. The camembert can be substituted with brie or another soft, creamy cheese. Feel free to adjust the amount of cranberries and pistachios to your taste.
