This classic Cranberry Pineapple Jello Salad is a delightful retro dish that combines the tart flavor of cranberries with the sweet pineapple in a smooth, refreshing gelatin base. Perfect for holidays, potlucks, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

– 1 (12 oz) bag fresh or frozen cranberries

– 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained

– 1 (3 oz) package unflavored gelatin

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 cup water

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, drained pineapple, gelatin, and sugar.

2. – Add 1 cup of water and stir to combine.

3. – Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin and sugar have dissolved.

4. – Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

5. – Pour the salad into a 9×13 inch baking dish or individual serving dishes.

6. – Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.

7. – Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

– For a creamier texture, you can substitute half of the water with pineapple juice.

– Add a splash of orange juice or a teaspoon of orange zest for an extra burst of flavor.

– Garnish with whipped cream, toasted nuts, or additional fresh cranberries and pineapple.
