Ingredients
– 1 (12 oz) bag fresh or frozen cranberries
– 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
– 1 (3 oz) package unflavored gelatin
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 cup water
Instructions
1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, drained pineapple, gelatin, and sugar.
2. – Add 1 cup of water and stir to combine.
3. – Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin and sugar have dissolved.
4. – Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
5. – Pour the salad into a 9×13 inch baking dish or individual serving dishes.
6. – Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
7. – Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
– For a creamier texture, you can substitute half of the water with pineapple juice.
