Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 1 egg
– 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. – In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, cranberry sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
3. – Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
5. – Serve the cranberry sauce meatballs warm, garnished with fresh thyme if desired.
Notes
For a more festive presentation, serve the meatballs on toothpicks or skewers. You can also use a combination of ground beef and ground pork for extra flavor. The meatballs can be made in advance and reheated before serving.
