Ingredients
– 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
– 1 cup orange juice
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tsp orange zest
– 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, sugar, orange zest, and cinnamon.
2. – Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
3. – Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the cranberries have broken down and the sauce has thickened.
4. – Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
– For a chunkier texture, mash some of the cranberries with a fork or potato masher during the last few minutes of cooking.
