Description

This quick and easy Cranberry Sauce recipe is the perfect holiday side dish. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s bursting with tart and sweet flavor that perfectly complements roasted meats, such as turkey or ham.

Ingredients

– 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup orange juice

– 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.

2. – Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

3. – Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.

4. – Remove the cinnamon stick and let the sauce cool slightly before serving.

Notes

– For a smoother texture, use a potato masher or the back of a spoon to gently mash some of the cranberries as the sauce simmers.

– Adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less sugar.

– The sauce can be made up to 5 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
