Description

Indulge in the rich, velvety goodness of Creamy Paprika Steak Shells – a comforting classic dish featuring tender steak simmered in a decadent, paprika-infused sauce, served over pasta shells for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

– 1 lb flank steak, sliced into bite-sized pieces

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp paprika

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 cup beef broth

– 12 oz large pasta shells

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. – Season the steak with salt and pepper.

2. – Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

3. – Reduce the heat to medium, add the onion to the skillet, and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and paprika, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

4. – Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Return the seared steak to the skillet and let the sauce simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the steak is tender and the sauce has thickened.

5. – Meanwhile, cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. – Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet with the steak and sauce, and toss to combine.

7. – Serve the Creamy Paprika Steak Shells warm, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

– For a spicier dish, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.

– Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
