Description
Creamy Tuscan Chicken (One Pan) is a delectable, easy-to-make dish that’s packed with flavor. Tender chicken breasts are simmered in a rich, creamy sauce infused with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, creating a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
– 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
– Salt and black pepper, to taste
– 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. Reduce the heat to medium and add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, dried basil, and dried oregano to the skillet. Whisk the mixture together and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
4. Add the seared chicken back to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Reduce the heat to low and let the chicken simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
5. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the fresh chopped basil.
6. Serve the Creamy Tuscan Chicken (One Pan) immediately, over pasta, rice, or with a side salad.
Notes
This dish can be easily customized by adding your favorite vegetables, such as spinach or mushrooms. For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half or milk instead of heavy cream.
