Description

Elevate your meals with the bold, Cajun-inspired flavors of Creole Butter. This easy-to-make compound butter is the perfect accompaniment to seafood, steak, or crusty bread.


Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

– 1 teaspoon lemon zest


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon zest. Mix until well incorporated.

2. Transfer the Creole Butter to a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Shape into a log or roll, then wrap tightly.

3. Refrigerate the Creole Butter for at least 1 hour, or until firm.

4. Slice and serve the Creole Butter on top of grilled or seared seafood, steak, or crusty bread.

Notes

For a spicier version, add an extra teaspoon of Cajun seasoning. The Creole Butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or frozen for up to 3 months.
