Ingredients

– 1 lb beef, thinly sliced

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon grated ginger

– 2 red chili peppers, sliced

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

– 1 tablespoon brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

– 2 green onions, sliced

– Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

2. 2. Add the beef and fry until crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Transfer the beef to a plate.

3. 3. Reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic, ginger, and chili peppers to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

4. 4. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil to the skillet. Stir to combine.

5. 5. Return the crispy beef to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

6. 6. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

7. 7. Serve immediately over steamed rice.

Notes

– For a spicier dish, add more chili peppers or use a hotter variety.

– Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar to taste.

– Leftover Crispy Chilli Beef can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
