Description

Indulge in the cozy, comforting flavors of Crock Pot Apple Crisp – a hassle-free dessert that showcases tender, cinnamon-spiced apples topped with a golden, buttery crumble topping.

Ingredients

– 6 cups peeled and sliced apples

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. – Grease the inside of a 4-6 quart slow cooker.

2. – In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with the brown sugar and cinnamon until well coated.

3. – Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared slow cooker.

4. – In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, and nutmeg. Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

5. – Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.

6. – Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

7. – Serve warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired.

Notes

For best results, use a variety of apples, such as Honeycrisp, Gala, or Granny Smith. Adjust the cook time as needed, depending on the size and thickness of your apple slices.
