Description

These Crockpot Mashed Potatoes are unbelievably creamy, buttery, and flavorful. With minimal hands-on time, you’ll have a perfectly cooked, restaurant-quality side dish that’s ideal for busy weeknights or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

– 3 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

– 1 cup milk

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. – Place the potato chunks in a slow cooker and add the butter, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

2. – Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the potatoes are very tender.

3. – Use a potato masher or electric hand mixer to mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.

4. – Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

5. – Serve hot, garnished with chopped chives or parsley if desired.

Notes

– For extra creamy potatoes, add an additional 1/4 cup of milk during the mashing process.

– Swap out the milk for heavy cream or half-and-half for an even richer texture.

– Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, crispy bacon bits, or chopped green onions for tasty mix-ins.
