This Crockpot Mustard Herb Chicken And Creamy Orzo is a comforting one-pot meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender chicken is simmered in a creamy, flavorful sauce with fresh herbs, then served over a bed of fluffy orzo pasta for a satisfying and easy-to-prepare dish.

Ingredients

– 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1/2 cup Dijon mustard

– 1/4 cup honey

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tbsp dried thyme

– 1 tbsp dried rosemary

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 cup chicken broth

– 1 cup uncooked orzo pasta

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Place the chicken breasts in a crockpot.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring the chicken is fully coated.

3. – Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

4. – About 20 minutes before serving, cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

5. – Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred or dice it. Return the chicken to the crockpot and stir to combine with the creamy sauce.

6. – Serve the Crockpot Mustard Herb Chicken over the cooked orzo pasta. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
