Description

Delicate, bite-sized Cucumber And Watercress Tea Sandwiches are the perfect light and refreshing snack or appetizer. Crisp cucumbers, peppery watercress, and a creamy spread come together in these delightful tea-time bites.


Ingredients

– 8 slices soft white bread

– 1 cucumber, thinly sliced

– 1 cup watercress leaves

– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. 1. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.

2. 2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

3. 3. Layer the cucumber slices and watercress leaves on top of the cream cheese on 4 of the bread slices.

4. 4. Top with the remaining 4 bread slices to create sandwiches.

5. 5. Use a sharp knife to trim the crusts and cut each sandwich into 4 triangles.

Notes
