Indulge in the ultimate Detroit-style pizza with a crispy, cheesy crust and savory Red Stripe beer-infused tomato sauce. This easy-to-make recipe is ready in just 30 minutes, making it perfect for game days, movie nights, or anytime you crave a delectable slice of pizza.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon active dry yeast

– 1 cup warm water

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

– 1/2 cup Red Stripe beer

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

– 1 cup pepperoni slices

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, warm water, olive oil, and salt. Knead the dough until it forms a smooth, elastic ball.

3. Press the dough into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan, stretching it to the edges.

4. In a medium bowl, mix the tomato sauce, Red Stripe beer, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.

5. Spread the sauce mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the sauce, then top with the pepperoni slices.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Let the pizza cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding the toppings. You can also experiment with different toppings, such as sausage, mushrooms, or onions.
