Indulge in the irresistible taste of these classic French Salted Butter Cookies. With their buttery richness, delicate crunch, and the perfect touch of salt, these homemade treats are an unforgettable delight.

Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1 egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. – Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

5. – Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

6. – Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges.

7. – Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra touch of saltiness, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on the cookies immediately after baking.
