Ingredients
– 12 Medjool dates, pitted
– 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
– 6 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Cut each date in half lengthwise and stuff with about 1 teaspoon of the goat cheese.
3. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
4. Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
6. In a small bowl, mix together the honey and chopped rosemary.
7. Drizzle the rosemary honey over the warm, bacon-wrapped dates.
8. Serve immediately.
Notes
