Ingredients
– 1 pound daikon radish, peeled and grated
– 1 cup rice flour
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 2 cups water
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the grated daikon radish, rice flour, soy sauce, salt, and white pepper. Mix well until a smooth batter forms.
2. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish or steamer with the vegetable oil.
3. Pour the radish batter into the prepared dish or steamer.
4. Steam the radish cake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Remove the steamed radish cake from the heat and let it cool slightly before cutting into squares.
