Description

Indulge in the irresistible crunch and flavor of these perfectly crispy Gold Bar Fried Spring Rolls. Packed with a savory pork and vegetable filling, these delightful appetizers come together in just 5 minutes for a quick and easy crowd-pleasing snack.

Ingredients

– 12 spring roll wrappers

– 1 pound ground pork

– 2 cups shredded cabbage

– 1 cup shredded carrots

– 1 cup bean sprouts

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

– 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

– Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, shredded cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

2. Place a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Scoop about 2-3 tablespoons of the pork filling onto the lower third of the wrapper.

3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly into a cylinder shape.

4. In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F. Carefully add the rolled spring rolls and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

5. Drain the fried spring rolls on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a healthier version, you can bake the spring rolls instead of frying them. Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
