Ingredients
– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
– 2 cups granulated sugar
– 4 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Halloween sprinkles or decorations (optional)
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and 2 cups of sugar. Beat in the 4 eggs, one at a time, then stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
3. 3. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt, and stir just until combined.
4. 4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with the 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until smooth.
