Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut into 24 small squares.

3. Press the pastry squares into the cups of a mini muffin tin.

4. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne.

5. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture into each pastry cup.

6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

7. Serve the Hanky Panky Appetizers warm.

Notes

– For extra flavor, try using a blend of different cheeses like Parmesan, Gruyère, or Swiss.

– Sprinkle some chopped fresh chives or diced jalapeño on top for a pop of color and extra zing.

– These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
