Description

Juicy, flavorful Italian-style sliders are the perfect appetizer or quick weeknight meal. These mini sandwiches are packed with savory seasoned beef, melty mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil for a taste of Italy in every bite.


Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 8 slider buns, split in half

– 8 slices mozzarella cheese

– Fresh basil leaves


Instructions

1. – In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed.

2. – Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and form them into small patties, about 2-3 inches wide.

3. – Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

4. – Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each patty and let it melt for 1 minute.

5. – Assemble the sliders by placing a cheesy beef patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a fresh basil leaf.

6. – Serve the Italian sliders warm, with any desired condiments or dipping sauces on the side.

Notes

For a flavor boost, try adding a dollop of marinara or pesto sauce to the sliders. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as provolone or parmesan. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh, but any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
