Ingredients
– 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1/4 cup bourbon
– 1 tbsp orange zest
– 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp ground cloves
Instructions
1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, honey, bourbon, orange zest, cinnamon, and cloves.
2. – Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
3. – Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
This Honey Bourbon Cranberry Sauce can be made up to 5 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. It also freezes well for up to 3 months.
