About instant pot Chicken Breast
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon oil.
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt.
- dash black pepper.
- 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano.
- 1/8 teaspoon dried basil.
- 1 cup water.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the sauté function on the Instant Pot at the highest setting and add oil to the pot.
Step 2
Season the chicken breast on one side.
Step 3
After the instant pot is preheated, add carefully the chicken breasts on the seasoned side.
Step 4
Add the spices on the second side.
Step 5
After that Cook the chicken breasts on each side for about 3 to 4 and remove from pot with the tongs.
Step 6
Add 1 cup of water to the pot.
Step 7
Place the chicken breasts on the trivet.
Step 8
Cover the pot, and cook on manual high for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Let the pressure release naturally for about 5 minutes, then release the rest quickly.
Step 10
Remove the chicken breast, and serving after 5 minutes rest.
Note: For the Frozen Boneless Chicken Breast:
