How to make brown rice in your instant pot?
The first thing you should do is rinsing the rice under running water to remove all impurities and drain it.
- Then place 2 cups of brown rice and 2 1/2 cups of water in the inner pot of your instant pot. Make sure all the rice is in the water. Cover the pot with the lid to lock it.
-
Set your instant pot to “Manual” function and cooking time to 22 to 24 minutes. When time is over wait 10 minutes until the pressure to go down and don’t release the pressure manually. After that, slide the steam release handle to let the remaining steam let out of the instant pot.
