Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Set your Instant Pot to the “Sauté”, add the olive oil to the inner pot. Once the oil is hot, add the onion and cook for about 3 minutes, until the onion starts to soften.
Step 2
Add the ground beef and cook until the beef starts to brown for about 5 minutes. Press Cancel.
Step 3
Pour in the broth. Add cumin, garlic powder, dried oregano, chili powder, brown sugar, tomato paste, pepper and salt. Use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits stuck to the bottom of the inner pot.
Step 4
Add beans and crushed tomatoes without stirring.
Step 5
Lock the lid of your instant pot, and set to the “Pressure Cook” function. Adjust the pressure to high for 15 minutes. After the time over, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quickly release any remaining pressure.
Step 6
Unlock and remove the Instant Pot lid.
Step 7
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
