Ingredients
– 4 cups water
– 1 tablespoon loose-leaf black tea or 4 tea bags
– 2 tablespoons dried rose petals
– 5 cardamom pods, crushed
– 2 cinnamon sticks
– 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
– 1/2 cup milk (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
2. Add the black tea, dried rose petals, crushed cardamom pods, and cinnamon sticks. Reduce the heat and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes.
3. Strain the tea to remove the spices and rose petals.
4. Stir in the sugar until dissolved.
5. If desired, add the milk and stir to combine.
