Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup heavy cream

– 2 eggs

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, 1/2 of the crumbled bacon, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, heavy cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. 3. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.

4. 4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top.

5. 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. 6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper. Leftover casserole can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
