Description

Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is a quick, creamy, and utterly delicious dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Juicy shrimp are simmered in a garlic-infused, parmesan-cream sauce and tossed with al dente pasta for a meal that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 8 oz linguine or fettuccine pasta

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

– 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)

– 2 tsp lemon juice

– 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. – In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the garlic is fragrant.

3. – Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

4. – Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream, parmesan, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.

5. – Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. – Serve the Marry Me Shrimp Pasta immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

– For a lighter version, use half-and-half or milk instead of heavy cream.

– Add a splash of dry white wine or chicken broth to thin out the sauce if it gets too thick.

– Garnish with additional parmesan cheese, lemon wedges, or fresh herbs.
