Ingredients
– 8 sheets phyllo dough
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup Nutella
– 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as pistachios, walnuts, or almonds)
– 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough in a baking dish and brush it lightly with melted butter.
3. Top with another sheet of phyllo dough and brush with more butter.
4. Spread 1/4 cup of Nutella evenly over the phyllo layers.
5. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of chopped nuts over the Nutella.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 until you have used all the phyllo dough, Nutella, and nuts.
7. Bake the Nutella Baklava in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the phyllo is golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of honey.
9. Let the Nutella Baklava cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Feel free to use a variety of nuts, such as pistachios, walnuts, and almonds, to add different flavors and textures. For a richer flavor, you can also sprinkle a bit of cinnamon or cardamom over the Nutella layers.
