Description

Indulge in the irresistible fusion of classic Philly cheesesteak flavors and crispy, loaded nachos. This easy-to-make appetizer is sure to be a crowd-pleasing hit at your next party or game day gathering.

Ingredients

– 1 lb thinly sliced steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)

– 1 large bell pepper, sliced

– 1 onion, sliced

– 8 oz shredded cheddar or provolone cheese

– 1 bag tortilla chips

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, bell pepper, and onion. Sauté until the steak is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

3. 3. Season the steak and vegetable mixture with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.

4. 4. Arrange the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet or in a shallow oven-safe dish. Top the chips evenly with the steak and vegetable mixture.

5. 5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.

6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. 7. Serve the Philly Cheesesteak Nachos hot, garnished with your favorite toppings like sour cream, jalapeños, or green onions.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce to the steak and vegetable mixture. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack.
